The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has announced Mr Nic Hailey will replace Dr Christian Turner CMG as the new British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya in December 2015.

The incoming High Commissioner is currently the FCO Director for Africa, a position he has held since 2013. In this role, he is the UK Government’s Top Official in the region.

Previously, he has held postings in Kabul, Washington, Paris and Berlin.

He will be joined in Nairobi by his wife and two daughters.
