#KenyaLive has treated viewers to a video tour around the Ola Mara Kempinski which is situated in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, a 35,000-acre part of the Masai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem that is run in partnership with the indigenous Masai people.

A huge variety of wildlife make their home in the area, including Cheetahs, Lions, Giraffes and Wildebeest and according to their website, visitors are “often surprised by just how close the animals come up close to their tents at the resort.”

The camp is in one of Kenya’s beautiful and unspoiled locations, with the tented accommodation offering a touch of luxury in one of the most remote places on Earth.

#KenyaLive is an 11 day project which aims to give wildlife lovers unprecedented access to the excitement of a Masai Mara safari in real time.

To see the live broadcasts, which will last between 10-20 minutes twice daily, one in the morning and the other in the evening, visit discoverafrica.com/herdtrackerlive or download the Periscope app to watch live on your mobile device.
