Athletes Steve Cram, Daley Thompson, Allison Curbishley and presenter Colin Murray have had to contend with downpours which turned roads into rivers during their charity cycle trek across Kenya to raise money for Cram’s charity, COCO.

After braving conditions which the BBC and talkSPORT presenter described as “brutal but beautiful”, Murray looked forward to another 50km in the saddle today.

They have been joined on their trek by 10 other cyclists and are hoping to raise £5,000 for the international children‘s charity, which helps provide education opportunities to communities in East Africa.
