Ugandan High Commissioner visits Norbrook Plant in Newry

Norbrook’s Newry facility has received a visit from the High Commissioner of Uganda in the UK.

Her Excellency, Prof Joyce Kikafunda, Ugandan High Commissioner and Mr Moses Mpungu, Third Secretary (Accounting Officer and Head of Protocol) joined members of the Leadership Team to discuss trade and for a tour of Norbrook’s facilities in Newry.

Norbrook have facilities in both Kenya and Uganda.

Norbrook was established in 1969, in Newry, Northern Ireland, by the late Lord Ballyedmond. It is one of the largest, family owned, veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Their portfolio of trusted animal health products is distributed in more than 100 countries and they are aiming to be the first to market with generic veterinary pharmaceutical products with differentiators or enhancements in comparison to pioneer products.
