The UK Department for International Development Kenya head Pete Vowles and TradeMark East Africa’s (TMEA) Chief Executive Officer Frank Matsaert were two of the recipients of copies of Tanzania’s Industrialization Journey, 2016-2056 from Ali Mufuruki at the end of a TMEA Board and Council meeting.

Mr Vowles chaired yesterday’s meeting which agreed the direction TMEA will take for the next 7 years, providing strategic guidance to help reduce barriers to trade and drive growth across East Africa.

TradeMark East Africa have also advertised an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Director for Sustainable and Inclusive Trade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of sustainable and inclusive approaches in gender, poverty, safeguards, environment and climate change in line with TMEA’s corporate strategy and Theory of Change.
