London Marathon runner Harry Minter ran a gruelling 26.2 miles on Sunday on behalf of UK based Kenyan charity Club Rafiki.

Despite record breaking temperatures, Harry completed the course in 6 hours, 3 minutes and 30 seconds, raising an amazing total £1,591.30 which with Gift Aid increases to £1,876.63.

Club Rafiki is a small registered charity dedicated to supporting educational needs of disadvantaged children at Nanyuki Preparatory School in Kenya.

Their vision is for all the children living in poverty to receive schooling to increase their prospects for a good job and a better future and the charity encourages the involvement of children in the UK by becoming pen-friends with Kenyan children.
