Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli has named a safari holiday in Kenya as his ‘best ever trip’ in the latest Daily Mail feature where celebrities recall their best and worst vacations.

Describing his Kenyan trip, Bruno says:

The first time I could treat myself to a proper holiday was in the early 1980s and I went on safari in Kenya. The beauty of the landscape and the clarity of the air take your breath away. I was 6ft from a rhinoceros, which was mind-blowing. I stayed in a beautiful camp with a tent like a hotel room and had fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. It was like Out Of Africa.

Also in the same article, he names a Mexico trip as his ‘worst ever trip’ and his ‘dream destination’ is Bora Bora.

In a previous article in the series, former Blue Peter presenter Valerie Singleton also listed a visit to Kenya with Princess Anne as her ‘holiday of a lifetime’.
