A fundraising curry night organised on behalf of UK based Kenyan charity St Peter’s Life-Line at the Felcham Tandoori in Leatherhead raised £795 which will go towards providing meals for school children supported by the group.

47 supporters attended the culinary event which was fittingly in aid of the charity’s feeding programme, where the money will be used to provide a hot nutritious lunch to 53 primary school children for a whole school year of 205 days.

St Peter’s Life-Line is a small grass roots charity where 100% of donations received reach the school and community. The charity partners with St Peter’s primary school and the local community in Kajuki, by helping to lift a community out of desperate poverty, through education, micro finance, empowering girls, feeding programmes, clean water, sanitation and the prevention of disease.
