Invest NI CEO visits Northern Irish veterinary pharmaceutical facility in Karuri

On Friday morning, following his meeting at the Irish Embassy in Nairobi, Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) CEO, Alastair Hamilton visited the Norbrook Laboratories facility in Karuri to learn about the expansion of the Newry business in Kenya.

Norbrook was established in 1969, in Newry, Northern Ireland, by the late Lord Ballyedmond. It is one of the largest, family owned, veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Their portfolio of trusted animal health products is distributed in more than 100 countries and they are aiming to be the first to market with generic veterinary pharmaceutical products with differentiators or enhancements in comparison to pioneer products.
