Simbas receive military-style physical training from BATUK ahead of Rugby World Cup qualifiers

Last week, staff from the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) Preparation Drill (PD) staff delivered an altitude training package using series of military style physical training sessions to the Kenyan Rugby squad, who are also know was the ‘Simbas’.

The Simbas are in preparation for their Rugby World Cup 2019 qualifiers which begin soon.

According to a report on the BATUK Facebook page, everyone involved in the package gave their all and the weekend proved to be a huge success.

The BATUK community also wished the Simbas success in their upcoming qualifiers. Hopefully, the training provided by the British Army will help them in their search for victory.
