This afternoon, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta held a meeting with Dominic Barton, London based Global Managing Director of McKinsey & Company.

McKinsey & Company is a global management consulting firm that serves leading businesses, governments, non governmental organizations, and not-for-profits. According to their website, they “help their clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.”
The company comprises more than 9,000 consultants and nearly 2,000 research and information professionals.
Around 40% of their clients are in Europe, 35% in the Americas, 15% in Asia Pacific and 10% in the Middle East and Africa, serving a broad mix of private, public, and social sector organizations.
Dominic Barton, Global Managing Director of McKinsey & Company
Dominic Barton has been with the firm for 30 years, and in that time has advised clients in a range of industries including banking, consumer goods, high tech and industrial. Prior to his current role, Dominic was based in Shanghai as McKinsey’s Asia Chairman from 2004 to 2009 and led the Korea of ce from 2000 to 2004.
Following this meeting, President Kenyatta met with former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair, who was visiting in his role as patron of the Africa Governance Initiative.
