Manda Bay and Diani Beach in Kenya along with Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall have been given Wow Beach Awards by Beach-Inspector.com.

The Berlin-based team spent three years visiting beaches around the globe, rating each one from 120 criteria points in total taking into consideration everything from water quality to how child friendly they are.

Members of the team have commented on each winning location with Anja describing Manda Bay as a “picturesque dream beach on a paradise island ideal for snorkelling,” while Christian anoints Diani Beach as “a king among the beaches of Africa.”

Manda Bay is located on Manda Island which is excluded from the UK travel advisory that covers Lamu County, making it an attractive destination for British holiday makers.
