The UK High Commissioner to Kenya, Nic Hailey, with colleagues from the Department for International Development (DfID) team, visited St Mary’s Medical Clinic in Kibera, one of the Population Services Kenya (PS Kenya) Tunza facilities in Kibera.

Mr Hailey and the team were there to learn more on how Tunza facilities are supporting counties and the national government in achieving universal health coverage.

PS Kenya’s work, for which UKaid is a development partner, focuses on three areas, saving lives, helping families and protecting from diseases.

They provide life-saving products, services and information to tackle serious health issues, help women and couples with family planning and supporting during pregnancy and delivers and help protect families from malaria, pneumonia, diarrhoea, malnutrition, HIV and AIDS as well as non-communicable diseases.
