The Marleybone Cricket Club (MCC) are touring Kenya for the first time in 20 years for their major 2018 overseas tour.

On Friday 5 October at 1pm, as a warm up for their major tour fixtures which follow, MCC will face the Kenya Kongonis Invitation XI in a 30 over match at Nairobi Club.

As in the past, Kenya Kongonis are inviting companies, individuals, schools, organisations etc the opportunity to support the event by taking a tent space for their clients, friends, parents etc and treating guests to cricket from a First Class team. All funds raised will go to the Kenya Kongonis Youth Development Programme.

Kenya Kongonis are also supporting schools that are part of our Youth Programme to bring their cricket sides to watch the game. We’re inviting you to reserve tent space to entertain your clients and associates to lunch at the cricket.

You will be free to promote your products and services with branding and print material around your tent areas.

Details:

  • Kenya Kongonis Invitation XI play against the MCC in the afternoon on Friday 5th, starting at 13.00.
  • We are offering individuals, schools, organisations and companies, as we did the last time the MCC came here for a full tour, the opportunity of renting a tent on the boundary edge to the right of the pavilion.
  • The cost is 25,000/- and includes the space, a tent, 3 round or rectangular table that will seat 10 pax and 30 dressed plastic chairs. Depending on the configuration the tent can accommodate up to 100 pax. In the past some folk have taken two tents together to increase their space.
  • Drinks, at Club prices, must be ordered through Nairobi Club. [Kongonis will handle the ordering on your behalf] and the Club can also provide catering, again if that is pre ordered. Companies or supporters that take a tent are able to arrange their own catering.
